Individual Data

Individual data were gathered in a representative sample of 171 neighborhoods in the western part of the Chitwan valley. Personal histories were gathered from 5,271 individuals living in these neighborhoods using a semi-structured life history calendar and a highly structured survey questionnaire. Prospective demographic panel data were also collected.
